Purvi was brought in to help refresh a 148 year old water business. The true challenge was to shift it from a ‘bottled water company’ to a true brand with a story that people wanted to be a part of.
This came at a time of increased competition and category commoditization. What's more, imported waters were defining the premium water segment so American-sourced Mountain Valley Spring Water had become lost in the mix.
By leaning into Mountain Valley’s heritage we defined and activated a brand story that celebrates its American roots. We also engaged select chefs, restauranteurs, musicians and artists across the United States to help tell the Mountain Valley story.
As a result the brand has been successfully acquired and over the course of our relationship we have seen a 3X increase in sales.
